P1Harmony recently held a special gathering with fans at the 2024 fan meeting ‘Plus Face H: Champions’ Olympics’ at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The event kicked off with a spectacular opening performance reminiscent of an Olympic opening ceremony, and the group delighted fans with unit performances of iconic 2010s K-pop songs like ‘Catallena’ and ‘Candy in My Ear,’ evoking nostalgia.
A special ‘press seat’ was arranged for fans during the fan meeting, allowing them to capture moments of the P1Harmony members. The members referred to these fans as ‘Peace Journalists’ and provided a photo time for them. Fan A, who participated in the press seat, shared, “The members posed specifically for fans in the press seat, making it a comfortable viewing experience.”
The highlight of the fan meeting was a sports event divided into the blue team and the white team. P1Harmony engaged directly with fans through a racewalking relay competition. Notably, a video of fans moving together with their arms around each other’s shoulders went viral, with over 37,000 reposts on SNS X (formerly Twitter).
P1Harmony’s ‘Olympics’ is being praised for achieving a genuine ‘fan+meeting’ through interactive communication with fans. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, fan meetings had shifted towards one-sided stage performances by artists. However, P1Harmony infused new energy by planning various participatory segments.
Debuting in 2020, P1Harmony recently achieved a career high by reaching 16th place on the Billboard 200 with their latest mini-album ‘Sad Song.’ With the successful conclusion of their domestic fan meeting, P1Harmony continues their upward trend and is slated to perform at the ‘2024 Korea Grand Music Awards’ (2024 KGMA) Artist Day at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 16th. The future endeavors of P1Harmony are highly anticipated.
