This season saw a 142% increase in viewership compared to the previous season, setting a new personal record. Every episode topped Coupang Play’s popularity rankings, once again proving the program’s strength.
Various stars participated as hosts, praising it as “the best stage of their lives.” Season 6 solidified its position as a leading program in the Korean comedy scene, thanks to new hit segments and the brilliant performances of emerging crew members.
‘SNL KOREA’ has established itself as a cradle of star discovery. This program, which has produced winners of the Best New Female Entertainer Award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards for three consecutive years, was noted for the outstanding performances of its young crew this season as well. Kim Kyuwon, living up to the nickname “secondhand rookie,” delivered a variety of characters, bringing great laughter. His parody of Baek Jongwon, in particular, drew laughter even from Baek Jongwon himself.
