The band Vanillare will participate in the OST celebrating the 20th anniversary of the legendary manga ‘Hip-Hop’. As part of this special project produced by Naturally Music, Vanillare’s new song ‘Room 516’ will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 8th.
‘Hip-Hop’ is the first dance manga in South Korea, gaining immense popularity with its thrilling dance battles and in-depth explanations of technical elements. It is noted for its contribution to unifying various technical terms across regions and is recorded as a million-seller in Korean manga history.
This commemorative project is an album compiled over two years, featuring a variety of artists. Among them are Beopard, Poi, BXB, and Jung SangSoo, with Vanillare’s track being one of the songs released on the 8th.
Vanillare’s member Gohee personally wrote and composed the song, capturing the complex emotions felt in a hotel room 516 in Tokyo, Japan. The song delicately expresses the effort to hold on to oneself amidst the noise of work and personal situations.
Gohee expressed, “I’m pleased to participate in the ‘Hip-Hop’ 20th anniversary album as a band set. Working with various artists was a valuable experience.”
Since reorganizing the band in 2021, Vanillare has gained attention at home and abroad with ‘In The Dark’, establishing themselves as a skilled band by advancing to the semifinals in the ‘Emergenza Japan 2024’ preliminaries.
The commemorative album will be introduced sequentially every Friday at 6 PM until the release of the smart comic book ‘Kit Page’ at the end of December. This project, featuring various genres and artists, not only commemorates the 20th anniversary of ‘Hip-Hop’ but also raises expectations for the new season in 2025.
The ‘Hip-Hop’ manga 20th anniversary OST featuring Vanillare will be available on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 8th. Fans are anticipating the new musical experience this special project will bring.
