The group ATEEZ has set a new personal record for the longest time on the US ‘Billboard 200,’ proving their global popularity.
According to the latest US Billboard chart (dated July 27), announced on the 23rd local time, ATEEZ’s 10th mini-album ‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1’ ranked 121st on the ‘Billboard 200.’ This album, which was released on May 31, climbed to No. 2 on the chart immediately after its release, marking their fourth consecutive album to enter the TOP 3. Although it dropped to 6th place the following week, it remained in the TOP 10 for two consecutive weeks, proving fans’ love. Notably, it gained attention by climbing back up the chart in its fifth and sixth weeks.
Last week, ATEEZ entered the ‘Billboard 200’ for six consecutive weeks with ‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1,’ tying their own record set with their second full album ‘THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL.’ This week, they successfully entered the chart for the seventh consecutive week, breaking their own record for the longest time on the ‘Billboard 200.’
Recently, ATEEZ successfully held their first stadium performance in North America at ‘BMO Stadium’ in Los Angeles as part of their 2024 world tour ‘TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER.’ They even added an additional concert at the same venue.
Moreover, ATEEZ entered ‘Citi Field’ in New York, following in the footsteps of legendary artists, and performed at ‘Globe Life Field’ in Arlington, becoming the first K-pop boy group to do so, attracting around 40,000 spectators.
With such outstanding achievements, ATEEZ has been consistently listed on the UK Official Album Charts, further demonstrating their global popularity. According to the chart dated July 19, their 10th mini-album ranked 12th on the ‘Official Independent Albums Chart,’ 36th on the ‘Official Physical Albums Chart,’ 36th on the ‘Official Albums Sales Chart,’ and 58th on the ‘Official Scottish Albums Chart,’ maintaining its position for seven consecutive weeks.
Riding on this momentum, ATEEZ is set to continue their 2024 North America tour with a performance at the ‘Footprint Center’ in Phoenix on the 25th. Expectations are high for ATEEZ’s future global activities.
