Korean girl group BLACKPINK is set to reunite as a full quartet for the first time in 11 months at a special event in Seoul. YG Entertainment announced on July 26 that the group will attend the production press conference for their film “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN CINEMAS” on August 9, held at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
The event, organized to celebrate the release of their world tour concert film “BORN PINK,” will feature a pink carpet where BLACKPINK JiSoo, BLACKPINK Jennie, BLACKPINK Rosรฉ, and BLACKPINK Lisa will greet their fans. This marks a significant reunion for BLACKPINK as all four members will appear together in an official setting after nearly a year.
However, itโs important to note that BLACKPINK will limit their participation to the pink carpet event and stage greetings. Unlike typical movie production press conferences, there will be no interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, or media Q&A sessions.
Fans interested in attending the pink carpet event can gain entry through various channels, including BLACKPINK Weverse membership, film viewers, and participants of CGV Instagram events. Detailed application methods and periods can be found on BLACKPINK Weverse, CGV’s official website, and CGV social channels.
Tickets for the stage greetings can be booked starting at 2 PM on August 2 through the CGV website, mobile app, and onsite ticket offices and kiosks.
The film “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN CINEMAS” captures the grand finale of their “BORN PINK” tour held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro, Seoul. Scheduled for release on July 31, the concert film will screen in over 110 countries, setting a record for the most extensive release for a girl group concert film.
BLACKPINK fans worldwide eagerly anticipate more updates and future activities from the group as they continue to leave their mark on the global stage.
