Let’s get into it!
Hello, everyone! I’m Picky Ji YoungJun, a ramen critic, ramen culture content creator, and ramen conqueror with a dream to try every ramen in the world and introduce them to you.
Introduction of a Samyang’s Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon
There are so many ramen varieties to introduce, and today, I’m excited to share another spicy treat with you. The ramen featured in this episode of “Conquering Ramen” (num 1872) is none other than the terrifyingly spicy, export-only Samyang Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon.
The Samyang Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon, with a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) of 13,000, is the spiciest among the Buldak series. This product, which does not contain meat, was briefly sold as a promotional item by Samyang Foods in June 2020. Although I missed the chance to review it back then, I managed to purchase it from Taobao for 7.5 yuan each (approximately 1,390 KRW) and had it delivered via direct purchase.
In South Korea, the double-spicy Nuclear Buldak Bokkeummyeon (around 10,000 SHU) was available online but seems to have been discontinued recently. As of March 2024, it appears that only export versions are being sold. It’s unfortunate that such a delicious product is no longer available domestically. You can check my previous review of it below.

Intense and hot spicy flavor! Hot spicy spicy chicken noodles.
Leaving my regrets behind, let me introduce you in detail the Samyang’s Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon which is sold only for exports. 😀
If you don’t feel that the original Buldak Stir-Fried Noodles are spicy, if you’re curious about the taste of the hottest stir-fried chicken noodles in the whole series, or if you’re looking for the ultra-high spicy stir-fried noodles, please pay attention to this review. Today, I’ll introduce you to Samyang’s Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon in detail 😀

Final review
Product Name: Samyang Triple Spicy Buldak Bokkeummyeon (Export-Only Ramen)
Ramen Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.6) – Moderate
Spiciness Level: ★★★★★ – Extreme
Release date: Not known
Price: 7.5 yuan (approximately 1,390 KRW)
Sauce salinity: 1,582 mg sodium
One-liner: The fearsome spicy ramen that amplifies the heat of Buldak Bokkeummyeon.
Upon tasting, the spicy aroma hits you before you even take a bite. The heat is intense and immediate, making you sweat with just a small amount. Despite the extreme spiciness, the familiar flavors of curry and the spicy, salty Buldak sauce come through, making it delicious. However, I had to stop halfway due to the overwhelming heat and ended up drinking two glasses of milk.
This ramen is definitely one of the spiciest I’ve tried, surpassing even the Gumbi Bulmawang Bokkeummyeon. Though tasty, the spiciness might be too much for those who are not accustomed to it. If you love spicy food, I recommend sharing one package with 2-3 friends for fun.
