Singer-Songwriter Vince Makes His Comeback With ‘Get Out’ And Announces The Release Of His EP “The Drive”

South Korean singer-songwriter Vince makes a triumphant return with his latest single and music video, ‘Get Out’, a vibrant blend of R&B and disco-based EDM, urging listeners to break free from the past. Released today via THEBLACKLABEL, the track’s title, ‘나와’ (which, in Korean, means, both “get out” and “with me”), delivers a dual message of urging someone to “get out” while also inviting them to come along.

In addition to the single, Vince announces the release of his highly anticipated 7-track EP, “The Drive”, scheduled for November 17. The EP features the title track ‘U U U’, co-written by Vince alongside Teddy Park and produced by 24. This marks Vince’s foray into the spotlight after contributing his songwriting and production prowess to global hits, including BLACKPINK Lisa‘s ‘MONEY’, JiSoo‘s ‘FLOWER’, Jennie‘s ‘YOU & ME’, and BLACKPINK‘s ‘SHUT DOWN’.

Known previously as Joe Rhee, Vince has been a force behind the scenes, notably credited on BIGBANG TaeYang‘s chart-topping albums and co-writing Korea’s best-selling song of 2017, SunMi’s ‘Gashina’. With his solo project, Vince showcases his unique identity, blending various genres like R&B, hip-hop, rock, soul, and pop.

The music video for ‘Get Out’ features stylish and colorful visuals, portraying Vince alongside a captivating female lead in a playful world between reality and video game aesthetics. Produced by THEBLACKLABEL hit-maker R.Tee, known for his work with BIGBANG, TREASURE, Jeon SoMi, and BLACKPINK, the video complements the track’s futuristic vibe.

“The Drive,” Vince’s upcoming EP, is a compilation of tracks curated over three years, designed to be enjoyed during drives. Beyond the act of driving, the album symbolizes one’s desire or ‘Drive,’ offering a glimpse into Vince’s ambitions. The album promises a fusion of emotions, perspectives on love, and Vince’s exceptional songwriting and producing abilities.

Vince’s journey in the music industry includes writing and producing for G-Dragon, iKON, Jeon SoMi, and BLACKPINK.
