XG Celebrates 1st Anniversary By Releasing A Teaser Video For Their Upcoming Documentary

Hip-Hop/R&B girl group XG celebrated their 1st anniversary as a group last March 18! The girl group has achieved a number of milestones as a rookie, with their popularity continually soaring. This evident in their over 32 million views on their ‘SHOOTING STAR’ MV and over 14 million views on their latest release ‘LEFT RIGHT’. They made history as the first Japanese female group to reach 35th place on the prestigious “Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart” in the US with ‘LEFT RIGHT’, and their upward momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

In celebration of their 1-year debut anniversary, XG unveiled a teaser video for their upcoming variety and documentary releases. XG made an unconventional entrance onto the music scene, without relying on audition programs or other common practices among girl groups in recent years. Despite the group’s 5-year-long training period prior to their debut, the process had not been disclosed, which has raised their global fans’ curiousity and anticipation.
