FIFTY FIFTY (SaeNa, Aran, Keena, and SiO) has recently made their first-ever comeback last February 24th by releasing their 1st single album, “The Beginning: Cupid”.
As the prelude to their debut album, “The Beginning: Cupid” showcases the inner selves of the four girls, just before they embark on a thrilling new chapter. This solitary album explores the profound sense of division that exists between the world of idealistic aspirations, and the harsh realities of life where things don’t always go according to plan. Through a captivating tale of seeking solace in Cupid as FIFTY FIFTY’s problem-solver, the album traces the girls’ journey. Yet, as the track progresses, the members come to a realization that they actually don’t need Cupid to resolve their problems, and that they must summon the courage to conquer their fears and metamorphose into a fresh version of themselves. The song marks the outset of their journey towards maturity and self-discovery.

I received a lot of positive energy while preparing for this album. Given that the main message of the song is about taking the initiative to be in charge of ourselves, I tried my best to keep up a positive mindset despite the difficulties and challenges I faced throughout the preparation period. I hope everyone can get motivated by listening to this song as much as I did!

Right after our debut, we stayed busy as we prepared for a new album within a short period of time. We practiced hard and did our best, hoping to put on a flawless performance on upcoming stages. I hope people can look forward to our brand-new look! Also, Iโd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our team for allowing us to come back with great music.
SaeNa
In “The Beginning: Cupid” features both Korean and English versions of the mesmerizing track, ‘Cupid’, along with its instrumental version. The “Twin version” (English version) of ‘Cupid’ presents a fresh remix with adjusted vocal arrangements and a unique style of mixing that differs from the Korean version. The FIFTY FIFTY members played an integral part in producing this single album, with Keena penning the verse and SaeNa contributing to the creation of the song’s captivating choreography. Alongside other veteran producers, Adam von Mentzer, who also produced ‘Lovin’ Me” from FIFTY FIFTY’s debut album, ensured that the group’s signature sound remained intact while broadening their musical horizons. Together, they have crafted an album that perfectly encapsulates the group’s diverse musical range.
