OOHYO is undoubtedly one of the most representative singer-songwriters in the Korean indie scene. Her debut EP [Girl Sense] was loved not only by the indie fans but also the listeners all over the world. Her albums were introduced by various magazines, ‘The needle Drop(US)’, ‘Spectrum Culture(US)’, ‘The Vibe Guide(US)’, ‘Unimag(Germany)’, and also other Japanese magazines. Her music was also mentioned by many artists including Jessica (former member of Girls Generation) and Krystal (former member of f(x)). Many listeners may remember Oohyo as an acoustic singer-songwriter, but actually you can find her using unique synths on top of the acousitic band sound and that’s why she’s called a synth pop artist.
OOHYO’s new single [Sand] uses the mood of 80~90’s K-pop with retro synth pop as well. To build up experimental, delicate and powerful sound, Jeon Jihan, Kim Kyungin from Peterpan Complex(PPCX) joined the producing team. With all effort as a team, [Sand] features iconic synthesizer sounds on Oohyo’s marvelous songwriting.

Director Park Chan-wook’s <Decision to Leave> which won the award for Best Director at the 75th Cannes Film Festival is now released. In this movie, there is a song that director Park Chan-wook got the inspiration for this movie and it accelerates emotion between two main characters.
[Mist] is the debut song of the famous Korean folk singer Jung Hoon Hee, released in 1967. This song is a masterpiece that harmonizes the dreamy vocals of Jung Hoon Hee and the melody from composer Lee Bong-jo. It is also used as the theme song for the movie of the same title <Mist> in 1967.
It was also used in the film <M (2007)>, starring Gang Dong-Won and Lee Yeonhee, and was remaked by K-pop star BoA. Check BoA’s ‘Mist’!

With refreshing voice and emotional lyrics, indie singer-songwriter Lee Jun Hyung released new single [Earth]. He recently took a part in hot OST of <My Liberation Note (2022)>. ‘To Be Together’ from this marvelous TV show moved the TV audience with fairytale-like lyrics and mood.
The new single [Earth] is a song about fear of disappearing, which is expressed as the matter of destruction of the earth with dreamy and shoegazing sound.
‘Earth’ is a pre-release song for the his upcoming full-length album, which is scheduled to be released in September.

SGO, a four-member band led by actor Ji Hyun-woo, is about to present colorful music through the new EP [LOVE LINE]. Ji Hyun-woo, who is well known for his leading roles in the TV series <Queen and I (2012)> and <Young Lady and Gentleman (2021)>, was actually a former lead guitarist of K-indie band ‘The Nuts’ and also has a 11-year singing career.
On the new album, SGO shows their new style through 5 tracks including ‘TIC TIC TIC’ that used minimal instruments to give nostalgic feelings, ‘LOVE LINE’ with a passing love story, ‘Shake it boom’ that shows an unexpected style rock. The songs contain stories that you’ve experienced at least once while living, and these music attempts to communicate with the world. Since it’s Ji Hyun-woo’s first album since his last drama <Young Lady and Gentleman>, many fans are looking forward to this album.
