On Apr. 4, it was announced by Billboard that K-Pop boy groups, BTS, EXO and GOT7 are nominated for 2019 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
These 3 K-Pop groups are nominated for the ‘Top Social Artist’ award. For the past 2 years, BTS has received the prestigious award and this year, they are once again part of the nominees. Aside from these 3 groups, Ariana Grande and Louis Tomlinson are also part of the nominees for ‘Top Social Artist’ award.

Billboard also mentioned that details about the voting will be announced in the near future.
Aside from being the nominees of ‘Top Social Artist’ award, fans of BTS are more than happy to find out that they were nominated for a second award, the ‘Top Duo/Group’ award.

Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, Maroon5 and also Panic! At the Disco are also the nominees for the same award.
It looks like this year BBMAs will be much more exciting than previous years as 3 of the most famous K-Pop groups are nominated in the award ceremony. K-Pop fans from all over the world would also be definitely watching the event live, supporting their favorite idols.
2019 BBMAs will be held on May 1 at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
