“UNCHARTED DRIFT” features five brand-new tracks, including the title track ‘EXCEL’, which carries the message of taking responsibility for one’s actions and choosing the challenging path towards their goals instead of the easy way out. The lyrics for ‘EXCEL’ were written by Jo YoonKyung, who also penned the lyrics for the title track ‘TIC TAC’ from their debut album. Collaborating with the globalized production team THE HUB and renowned mixing engineer Tony Maserati, known for his work with top artists like TWICE, Alicia Keys, Selena Gomez, Beyonce, and Britney Spears, 8TURN delivers a diverse range of genres in their new mini-album, including alternative rock, hard rock, hip-hop, and gospel.
