The world of Korean webtoons and web novels has been known to unlock the most refreshing storylines and imaginative offerings for Hallyu fans. Aside from regular webtoon fanatics, fans of K-Pop, K-Dramas, etc. have expanded their interest in creative Korean media by venturing into the riveting storylines and heartstopping adventures found in the pages of Korean webtoons.
For example, one of the best treats for K-Pop fans has been the advent of webtoons based on and inspired by their favorite K-Pop idols. Not only can fans form an even closer bond with their idols through stories linked back to them, but they can also delve deeper into the lore and alternate universes of their faves given the opportunity.

1. BTS - "7FATES: CHAKHO"
Summary: "7FATES: CHAKHO" is an urban fantasy about the near future. The story is inspired by the 'Chakhogapsa' who were hunters who specialized in killing tigers during the Joseon Dynasty. It mixes traditional Korean stories with HYBE's imagination surrounding the members.

2. ENHYPEN - "DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR"
Summary: Also inspired by the members, "DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR" takes one to a fictional universe featuring a town with two rival schools of vampires and werewolves at the center. When a student transfers to her new school, things start to take an interesting turn.

3. TXT - "THE STAR SEEKERS"
Summary: Set in a fictional universe surrounding the TXT members, "THE STAR SEEKERS" is a magical fantasy that tells the tale of weird and wonderful things happening to a group of 5 friends. However, they face some unorthodox obstacles and the story reveals a number of hidden meanings that can be unraveled through the TXT universe.

4. LE SSERAFIM - "Crimson Heart"
Summary: LE SSERAFIM's "Crimson Heart" uses their music as the theme songs. "Crimson Heart" tells the story of the members (as their representative characters) heading to a wilderness called the "UNKNOWN" and following their desires.

5. MAVE - "MAVE: Another World"
"MAVE: Another World" by Studio DugeunDugeun, ChoYounKyoung, Metaverse Entertainment, & Team Elf on Kakao Page / Metaverse Entertainment
Summary: "MAVE: Another World" showcases the member's characters in an alternate universe, true to the story title. It tells the story of a new girl group that gets their chance to debut taken away from them due to false allegations. Zena (one of the former CLEAR trainees) tries for another shot at fame but ends up interacting with a strange online user who unlocks an interesting virtual world.

6. NCT - "NCT: Dream Contact"
"NCT: Dream Contact" by ZQ, SeoGeul, & Hoae Kim / SM Entertainment
Summary: Also based on NCT's universe, the narrative delves into people's connections through dreams and music. Herein lies the relationship of the NCT members and the developmental journey they go on together as a strong unit. It is inclusive of all of the NCT sub-units, as well.

7. RIIZE - "Realtime Odyssey"
"Realtime Odyssey" by Hoae Kim, NakDi, & NoGon / SM Entertainment
Summary: A web novel that mimics the coming-of-age story of the newly-debuted boy group, RIIZE. With a total of 24 episodes, it dives into the tales of youth and all of the trials and tribulations that come with it.
