1. Stray Kids’s HyunJin
HyunJin often takes to Instagram to share his incredible drawings and paintings. He has taken inspiration from movies and shows as well as from places that Stray Kids has visited for their concerts.
Below is HyunJin’s watercolor painting of The Wrigley Building, also known as The Clock Tower, in Chicago. On Instagram, HyunJin captured the image, “ThankYou Chicago.”
Another beautiful work of art by HyunJin is of New York. This piece depicts a man in a bowler hat walking through the city that never sleeps.
Most recently, in August 2023, HyunJin posted paintings of several figures, one of which is here below. The image depicts two people with conjoined heads, looking down at the viewer.
Not only does “the prince” look like a work of art, he also makes incredible pieces himself!
2. Kino
A member of PENTAGON, Kino established his own music label, NAKED, in December 2023. Kino has exhibited his artwork at multiple shows, including the Art Road Showcase & Art Exhibition in Korea 2023. He often draws inspiration from impressionist artists, painting imitations of famous works from the 1800s.
Kino painted an imitation of “The Swing” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The brushstrokes and colors look almost identical to the original!
Beyond recreating his favorite impressionist works, Kino also painted the cover for PENTAGON’s “Daisy” album. Isn’t the daisy beautiful?
3. SHINee’s Key
Key has gained a lot of attention for his incredible artwork, which includes the design for the cover of SHINee’s third album, “The Misconceptions Of Us.” Key’s work is unconventional, often expressing loud and intense words and colors. His work tends to be more abstract, consisting of backgrounds with bold colors.
In addition, he had an exhibition for his artwork in 2011. Check out one of his pieces of Batman down below, as well as a figure in a chair that looks like a pincushion.
4. SEVENTEEN’s THE8
THE8 is another one of the incredible artists on our list. In 2023, the idol presented 11 of his artworks at the stART Art Fair at the Saatchi Gallery in London, United Kingdom.
As you can see, THE8 included his signature infinity symbol in this piece as well as “13+1+1+1+1,” which equals 17 and stands for the 13 members, 3 subunits, and CARATs (the fandom name).
Another piece by THE8 features what looks like the silhouette of a hooded figure surrounded by fiery chaos. The brushstrokes are wild, reminiscent of a wildfire.
5. MONSTA X’s MinHyuk
Last but certainly not least on our list is MONSTA X’s MinHyuk, whose stunning artwork was recently exhibited at K-EXPO in France!
Below, you can see his digital drawings of blue whales at the expo. Aren’t they stunning?
Here’s another piece done by MinHyuk, titled “Whale in Tears.” The blue teardrop perfectly captures the shape of the graceful whale. The caption reads, “I want to be a whale and think of myself as someone’s whale. I want to be there for the happy tears and the sad tears of my fans who support me.”
