K-Pop idols often have their respective positions such as vocalist, rapper, and dancer in their group according to their strengths. However, some of the K-Pop idols are “all-rounder” who excel in all aspects of performance, and one of them is ONEUS’s SeoHo.
After competing in “Produce 101 Season 2” and “Mixnine”, SeoHo debuted as the main vocalist of ONEUS in 2019. Apart from possessing top-notch singing skills, SeoHo also shows his talents in rapping, dancing, and even acrobatics in various performances. This made his teammate HwanWoong give him the title “Hexagon all-rounder”, which means he maxes out all 6 aspects of being an idol: vocal, rap, dance, visual, nice personality, and clean background with no scandals in the past.
Here are five stages that prove SeoHo is the “Ace Of Ace” among 4th-gen idols. Are you ready to discover the irresistible charm of SeoHo?
1. ‘Heartbeat’ – M Countdown Special Stage
SeoHo has been showcasing his incredible acrobatics skills since “Produce 101 Season 2”, in which he can do multiple backflips and tumbling consecutively. In this “M Countdown” Halloween special stage, he concluded the performance perfectly with his signature backflip followed by an evil smile. This ending fairy is just too mesmerizing to handle! SeoHo’s stage presence in this performance was also very captivating despite the fact that he was still a rookie idol that hadn’t debuted for a full year.
2. ‘LIT’ – Road To Kingdom
Vocalists seldom take up rap lines in most of the K-pop groups, but this is not the case for SeoHo (In fact he originally planned to become a rapper because he thought he could not sing well!). ONEUS performed a rearranged version of ‘LIT’ in the second round of “Road To Kingdom”, and SeoHo surprisingly took up a newly added rap part in the song. Although Seoho injured his ankle and could barely walk back then, he still gave an incredible performance by delivering dynamic rap with amazing flow while sitting on the throne.
3. ‘Come Back Home’ – Road To Kingdom
Who says the main vocalist is usually not the best dancer in the team? SeoHo showed his incredible dancing skills in this final performance of “Road To Kingdom”, where all his movements were so sharp and on point. What’s even more amazing was that he still managed to sing with a stable voice and even hit the quadruple high notes effortlessly towards the end while dancing to the powerful and intense choreography.
4. ‘Skydivin’’ – Show! Music Core
ONEUS’s discography and image are more on the mature side, but guess what, SeoHo also slay cute and youthful concepts! SeoHo looks so adorable with a teddy bear ears hairstyle in this ‘Skydivin’’ live stage, and his eye-smile and lovely facial expressions just melt your heart (Another fun fact: he got into RBW not because of his vocals, but because the staff liked his eye-smile!). He was really “maknae-coded” in this performance, which made it hard to believe that he is actually the oldest member in ONEUS. Not to mention that his refreshing vocals fit this song so much, and his high notes were stable as always!
5. ‘LUNA’ – Road To Kingdom: Ace of Ace
How can we end the list without mentioning SeoHo’s recent performance at “Road To Kingdom: Ace of Ace“? In the third round competition, ONEUS performed ‘LUNA’ with a tragic love story between five monsters and their lover. SeoHo took up the “Ace” position in this performance, where he was the protagonist of the story. His duet dance with the female dancer was very graceful, which illustrated the beautiful memories between the monsters and the lover nicely.
SeoHo’s acting at the end was also truly amazing as he cried onto the robe of the girl after she passed away, while turning into a monster again as the red moon rose. His facial expression and emotional vocals brought out his longing for the lover, which touched the bottom of the heart of the audiences and made this performance look like a heartbreaking ancient K-Drama. This idol can sing, dance, rap, do acrobatics, and even act – Is there anything he can’t do?
