The BL drama "Love Mate" has been one of the trending topics on social media these past couple of weeks as thanks to its interesting plot, fans have found themselves hooked on the series and the budding love story between a new employee and his team leader. Starring Cho HanGyeol as Jeong HaRam and Cho HyunMin as Lee Jun, the web drama tells the love story between a team leader who doesn't believe in love and relationships and a new employee who is a romantic and tries to make him fall in love.

The push-and-pull relationship between the two workers serves for a delectable viewing experience as their interactions gave viewers a host of chaotic, heartwarming, funny, and heart-racing moments as well.

As the series has come to an end, it's such a bittersweet feeling as while it's amazing to see our favorite couple have a nice happy ending, we will duly miss them thanks to the long-lasting moments they created on our screens. But that notwithstanding, we will find ourselves binge-watching this drama again just to relieve some of the cute and heartwarming moments we loved.

Here are some of the heartwarming and cute moments we absolutely loved in the BL drama.

 

1. "Love at first sight"

The first interactions between Jeong HaRam and Lee Jun could be best described as chaotic as they couldn't be more different. Whilst one was an advocate for the "Single Heaven" the other was like Cupid, seeking to shoot his shot of love into the heart of an unromantic. This confession came out of nowhere and like Lee Jun we were all flustered and smitten by how bold and confident Jeong HaRam was in this moment.

 

2. Is this really work or an excuse to get closer to him?

This scene had us turning pink blush as the tension between both characters was simply breathtaking. Desire and passion filled the air as they served romantic and lovely poses for this test shoot. However, they were also lost in their own world as perhaps it was at this moment that the attraction between them became mutual.

 

3. "The reason why I like you is because you tied my shoelaces"

We surely did a double take and replayed this moment as for a second we thought we didn't hear the reason well. However, Jeong HaRam goes on to explain how Lee Jun had helped him during a tough time and giving him strength. His kind actions resonated deeply in him and that made him fall in love with him. So, the phrase of the day is "Be kind to others, you don't know, they might end up being your soulmate."

 

4. "Are we going to keep doing this here?"

Kiss scenes are one of the elements we all look forward to in any drama, particularly a BL drama as it serves as the knot that ties the romantic story together. In fact, in our BL survey report, thousands of respondents choose "better kiss scenes" as the element that needs improving in a BL. This shows you its importance in a drama. Fans can very well be pleased with the kiss scene in this drama as it was both sweet and romantic.

 

5. A domesticated couple

After dealing with their emotional struggles and finding a sense of healing, it was such a sweet and endearing moment watching these scenes with the lovers being all domesticated and warm. Charming and lovely, this moment gave us an idea of what their lives would be like as a couple and we loved it.
