1. MCND's Castle J
When we make a list of idol rappers whose sound is totally unique, exceptional, and enjoyable, more often than not, Castle J's name always finds its way into it because he is the epitome of those words. Oh, we should also add "Brilliant" as well, because his creativity is simply mind-blowing. A multitalented star, Castle J on the mic is such a thrill as he brings a level of passion with his rap like no one else does. Complex and versatile, Castle J seems to have a strong base of power and control with his rap that many have attributed to the old school rap stars or underground rappers while also introducing a level of flair and sass with his delivery that matches the style of today's sound.
2. Ciipher's TAG
If we are making a list of super-talented groups and idols who deserve more recognition for their amazing works and talents, one of the groups that will not just be mentioned but top the list is Ciipher. And one of the idols will definitely be TAG. Amazing falls short in describing his talents as he goes beyond that. Genius?! Perhaps yes, as his style and sound of rap are so unique and distinct. If you can have prominent stars bopping their heads and smiling brightly like kids at a candy store during your performance, then you must be doing something right. Jang DaeHyeon is such a gem of an artist, a priceless one whose value continues to increase rapidly. Excelling in all positions, when it comes to rap, his name deserves to be mentioned on every list as with his ever-consistent growth, he continues to prove that he has what it takes to be one of the driving forces of the genre in K-Pop.
4. DKB's GK
When we look at the DKB members, we see a group of well-rounded idols who can simply do everything! Producer, choreograph, compose, perform, sing, and rap. With rap, while many of their members can literally spit fire, GK is such a force to be reckoned with as his style, sounds, aura, traits, and all-around talents fit the description of a successful rapper. In our opinion, he is one of the best 4th generation rappers today, whose lyrics, flows and bars are top-notch and whose performances are always engrossing and entertaining to watch.
5. CRAVITY's Allen
Allen is such a talented artist whose talents and skill set leave us in awe and respect for him. A performer, singer, rapper, composer, and producer, perhaps we can rightly give him the all-rounder status as he certainly shows that he is a well-rounded idol. Speaking on his rap skills, whenever he raps, Allen brings such an energetic and swag-filled style that represents the taste and sound of this generation. His rhymes are great and his intonation is even better. We still get chills whenever we hear his rap parts in 'Call My Name' and 'Mammoth'. Rapper Allen deserves more recognition!
