3 Things We Love About fromis_9’s Comeback With Their 1st Full-Length Album “Unlock My World”

fromis_9 are an incredible girl group who has only gotten better with time. Their overall sound and cohesion has leveled up immensely compared to their time as innocent rookies.  Now, they have an entire fandom, and more, rooting for their success.

After almost a year, fromis_9 are back with their newest album, “Unlock My World”. flover are understandably ecstatic as they witness the girl group’s return to the music scene. One main reason for their excitement is the fact that “Unlock My World” marks the group’s first ever full-length album. It’s a milestone that K-Pop idols continuously work towards. Although it’s such a momentous occasion, that isn’t the only factor that makes us excited for the return of fromis_9.

Here are a few things that we love about fromis_9’s comeback!

 

1. More Content Of The Bubbly Girl Group

While there’s been occasional Instagram posts and YouTube uploads, with the short break in between albums, there has been an obvious drought in content. But now that they’ve made their return, flover can expect videos, TikToks, and Instagram reels to come out in full force. It will be exciting to see the members collaborate with other groups for dance challenges and appear on a variety of different programs. Overall, anything that will allow the idol group to greet their fans will be a tremendous treat.

 

2. All Members Had A Hand In Production

It’s become a more common occurrence for idol groups to be more proactive in producing their own music. Prior to this point, not everyone from the Pledis girl group was credited in previous tracks. However, with the release of “Unlock My World”, we see that every single member was able to help in production. With something as momentous as a first full-length album, it seems all the more special knowing the amount of hard work the girls put in behind the scenes. The time spent away was definitely worth it, with “Unlock My World” being the result.

 

3. A Title Track Befitting Of Summer

fromis_9 has consistently released songs that perfectly fit the atmosphere of summer. From ‘WE GO’ to ‘Stay This Way’, and now ‘#menow’, you can just feel the cool ocean breeze envelope your entire body. ‘#menow’ is a medium-paced dance track, providing the right tension that allows you to imagine yourself sunbathing on a tropical beach. Once you put this song on repeat, you’ll unknowingly find yourself grooving right out of your seat.
