The most highly anticipated K-Drama of 2021, starring Kim SeonHo and Shin MinA, "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha", has officially premiered worldwide on Netflix! In Korea itself, it premiered on tvN where it achieved the number 1 spot in ratings (6.8%) in its time slot. Needless to say, fans all over the world have been drawn into the beautiful, beachy world of "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" and we can't wait to see what happens next.

Here are 3 reasons why we're hooked to "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" already!

1. The healing landscape

The beautiful healing story of "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" is set in a gorgeous seaside village of Gongjin. The actual filming location of the drama is in Pohang. Right off the bat, the beautiful seascape is like a breath of fresh air.

Anyone tired from the busy hustle and bustle of city life will find solace and relief in the blue and green of the hometown, as shown in the drama. The same goes for HyeJin, who moved from Seoul to Gongjin to fatten her bank account in a short amount of time but soon realises the charms of the countryside.

2. The city-girl trope

In the first two episodes, Shin MinA's Yoon HyeJin is nothing short of a dreamy mess. She is absolutely gorgeous, beaming with bright energy and a radiant glow. However, she's at a turning point in life which leads her to be a little flustered and apprehensive as she tries to build a new life in Gongjin.

As such, she comes off as your usual city girl who cannot adjust to the simplicity of country life. However, she's also a woman of grace and is deeply loveable who can easily endear herself to others just by being herself. It will be interesting to see how she changes as a person through her time in the healing land of GongJin.

3. Kim SeonHo as Mr. Good Boy once again!
