The great advantage of the K-Pop industry is the diversity of its artists. There are boy groups, girl groups, and even mixed groups. Some have more members than others, but that surely never affects their talent. Because one thing is for sure, they all deserve to be in the spotlight thanks to their amazing skills. May it be dancing, singing, or rapping, or even all of them sometimes, those artists are full of talent, and we're very thankful to them for deciding to share it with us on stage. But one thing that is very diverse in the K-Pop industry is also the concept of each group.
Indeed, what makes each group unique, apart from having different members, is their music and concepts. Some are going for a fantasy storyline while others go for some sexy or bad-boy concepts. Today, let's talk about girl groups. Many people outside of K-Pop fandoms tend to think girl groups only have cute concepts, but that is far from reality. Girl groups have so many different concepts, it's mind-blowing sometimes. Of course, some girl bands do have a cute concept, but overall girl groups' concepts can go from high schoolers in love all the way to goddesses of a dark fantasy world. Today we'd like to introduce you to three girl groups we think are giving such cool kids vibes, with their concepts and attitudes, you will instantly fall for them.

1. MAMAMOO
Only a handful of people don't know who MAMAMOO are. Often named the queens of K-Pop, MAMAMOO has raised the standard very high for the following girl groups. With their strong vocals, their cool raps, and their stunning visuals, MAMAMOO has raised to the top in no time. As of now, each member has released at least one solo album, so if you have any preference for one of them, you can go and check out their personal release, as good as their group work. And one thing that often amazes new MOOMOOs, fans of MAMAMOO, is the way fans harmonize with the group when doing the fan chants during their stage. MAMAOO is one of the rare groups whose fan chants are meant to become harmonies while the girls sing, making their stage stand out, just like the cool kids do.
2. (G)I-DLE
Another, more recent, girl group you might want to know about is (G)I-DLE. Not only are their music very distinctive, but so are their voices and dance skills. It is hard to beat this group on all levels. One of their most famous song 'Oh My God' will surely blow your mind as you listen to it, telling the story of goddesses, this song is one of a kind. More recently, the group released the song 'Queencard', which once again shows the power of (G)I-DLE's image. In only a few years, (G)I-DLE managed to establish a strong fanbase and make themselves known by all for being powerful women with a cool group image. If (G)I-DLE isn't part of the cool kids, nobody is.
3. DREAMCATCHER
If the name of this group is already playing with your imagination, wait until you see their song and concept. DREAMCATCHER is closer to a rock band in terms of music, with a lot of electric guitar and strong beats, but it isn't less enjoyable than any other K-Pop song, on the contrary. So DREAMCATCHER already distinguishes itself with songs that are out of the box, but that is not the only reason why they're so cool. DREAMCATCHER has a dark fantasy concept seen nowhere else among girl bands. Let yourself travel inside obscure forests and haunted places with this one-of-a-kind group. But no worries, if their concept is spooky, the members aren't, they're all very sweet and easy to grow fond of! So don't waste any more seconds and go look for their music!
