If you are a Kpopmap reader, you would know about our article on the most followed Korean actors on Instagram (Top 17 Most Followed Korean Actors On Instagram & Others 70 Actors' Instagram). The list includes actors and acting-dols who had a lead role in a K-Drama (not a web drama). We regularly update the ranking as actors keep on increasing their followers.

Our previous update was on Oct. 16 and we updated again on Dec. 2 In this one month and half time, a lot of changes happened in the ranking. Here is a little sum-up of what changed and which actors increased in Instagram followers significantly.

Lee MinHo is the most followed Korean actor and he gained 1m followers between Oct. 16 and Dec. 2 when his drama already ended in June. His followers never stop to increase.

Nam JooHyuk starring in the airing drama "Start-Up" gained 1m followers in this period of one month and a half time. He is still the 5th most followed Korean actor.

Lee DongWook has also gained a lot of new followers with his airing drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed", he had 7.5m and now 8.7m. His ranking rose from 11th to 8th most followed actor.

ASTRO's Cha EunWoo had no drama during this period but he also gained 1m followers in this short time. The drama "True Beauty" where he is the lead is about to start and we can only wonder how much followers he will gain with this new awaited project.

Kim SooHyun (from 8m to 8.6m) and Park SeoJun (from 15.7m to 16.2m) also increased in followers significantly. Park SeoJun is getting closer to the 2nd rank held by Lee JongSuk currently doing his mandatory military service.

Kim Bum has now 2.1m followers with the popularity of "The Tale of the Nine Tailed". He reached 1m followers back on Oct. 9 and since then he has increased a lot.

Kim SeonHo has gained so much popularity with the drama "Start-Up" that he increased from 600k (Oct. 17) to over 2.8m (Dec. 2). It is a huge increase!

Top actor Kim WooBin opened his Instagram account on Nov. 26 and he has now more than 503k (Dec. 2). Without surprise, the actor gained a lot of followers in a blink of an eye.

Lee DoHyun had around 950K before the drama "18 Again"  (Sept. - Nov.) and after its end, he has now 1.8m.

Hwang InYeop is a new face in the K-Drama world. He had a supporting role in the drama "18 Again" (Sept. - Nov.) But he gained a lot of popularity with his cast in "True Beauty" as a lead actor. The highly awaited drama "True Beauty" starts next week (Dec. 9). The actor had 334k followers on Oct. 30 and jumped to 574k on Dec. 2. But just in a day time, he went to over 582k followers (Dec. 3) with the press conference of "True Beauty".
